Charlie's Biography
Charlie Adams is the author of "Stoke the Fire Within: A Guide to Igniting your Life."
He travels the nation sharing the common denominators of success based on the remarkable people he covered as an award winning television news reporter.
As an anchor and reporter in markets such as New Orleans, Memphis and South Bend, Charlie bucked the trend when it came to TV News. He emphasized positive news over negative news. He saw little value in wasting valuable air time on mopes. Instead, he made it a priority to showcase the incredible attitudes of positive achievers.
Over 23 years, he assembled hundreds of features on people who viewed life as an incredible blessing. Like the blind woman who saw only possibilities in life, and found fulfilling work as a dark room technician in a major hospital.
He found that life comes down to two choices. How we look at things, and how we respond to things. Perspective is powerful.
This platform veteran has delivered dependable motivational programs that have made a difference in the lives of people of all ages over the past twenty years. His message has been heard in such locations as Chicago, Indianapolis, Birmingham, Milwaukee, Frankenmuth and Savannah. He is a member of the National Speakers Association.
Adams is the author of three books on motivation and humor. "Stoke the Fire Within: A Guide to Igniting Your Life" was published in January of 2008 by Corby Publishing and is based on his most requested keynote.
Charlie shares the Stoke the Fire Within message during the popular "Travels with Charlie" group trips that he hosts five times a year.
